Happy New Year Giveaway!

Happy New Year!!!! I hope your holidays were wonderful and pray the new year brings you joy and laughter and many good things!

I've been busy making some new winter-themed cards, and these little cards are going to be given away through my Facebook fan page! If you're not a fan, go check it out!
And last, but not least, I was so excited with how nicely these turned out, I had to share. I'm working on improving my photography skills and thought this one was pretty good. :) These are thank you cards- the little tags say "Thanks" or "Thank You."
Love,
BekaBoo :)

Daisies

I just loved this paper when I saw it this week at Hobby Lobby! It just made me smile :), and I thought I could find something to do with it.
I found this cute little guy last month, but had been so swamped with work-school and grad school that I hadn't been able to try him out. I was tickled when I found the sentiment stamp this week because I knew I could pair him with the owl. Then I was even more excited when I dug into my ribbon and found coordinating ribbon!
I have to go back and get some more paper because I just LOVED this card! I have listed them all though so I am going to have to make some for me. Now if I could only find a stamp that says, "Don't worry." :)

Happy New Year to you wherever you are! I pray that you find lots of love, laughter, and a year of joy awaiting you!

Sunshiney Giveaway

When I saw this stamp last time I was paper shopping, I knew I could do something with it. I am very pleased with how it turned out this morning working at my kitchen table. :) I hope you will like it too.

In fact, I'm giving away one set of these note cards as my October giveaway. Enter by leaving a comment here or on my Facebook fan page this week or by making a purchase this week from my Etsy store. I'll choose a name next weekend when I get back from our family's camping trip.

Have a sun-shiney week everyone!

Thank a Soldier

These cards turned out very nice. The stamp says "Soldier" on the left and has a sentiment on the right that thanks and honors a soldier you know. A great way to express your thanks, appreciation, and honor for a soldier- one you know or even one you don't know. Each card comes with a white envelope with a red star stamped on the back.

Baby Shower Invites

I have been busy with babies of late- baby announcements, baby shower invitations, and next up, baby shower thank you note cards. Here are some photos of the baby shower invites I made for my sister's shower and a co worker's shower. I hope to have some shower/announcement/thank you cards up for sale soon on my store. First I might need to finish the grad school assignments that are due or past due, oh and uh, maybe lesson plans for work tomorrow. ;)

Have a great week!

This was my sister's baby shower invitation.

These are for baby Sudano. :)

September Giveaway

Here we go- a giveaway of cards eagerly waiting for October's arrival!
I've been busily creating baby shower invites for my sister, Jessica. Her hostesses have asked me to not unveil the final product until her shower as part of their surprises, so I will have to wait to post photos until then. I cannot wait to share them though! :) They turned out so pretty. :) I learned a lot while working on these also which is the best!

But for now, I am ready to do my September giveaway. This month, I will be giving away this little set just in time for October- six blank fall note cards & one breast cancer/hope card in honor of my Momma for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I love you Momma mine!!!

To enter this month's drawing all you have to do is:
  • answer some of my questions this week on my Facebook fan page (I'm looking for ideas about what you like in Christmas cards.)
  • share a link to this blog or my store (be sure to let me know via email or Facebook)
  • make a purchase from BekaBoo Creations (double entry)
  • refer a friend who also makes a purchase (double entry for you both- make sure they leave me a note in the "notes to seller" section or emails me to let me know)
Hope you will join me in the fun this month and play along. Contest begins now & ends this

Have a happy week!
BekaBoo :)

August Giveaway!

I LOVED doing my first giveaway last month, and I think, as my time will allow, I am going to do a monthly giveaway. :) (I already have a prize for September ready too!) So, without any further ado- here we go- August's giveaway!

My family & friends already know it, but for anyone who doesn't know me in person, I am a public school teacher, so I have a special place in my heart for children- they truly are my life! :) Since it is time for kids & teachers to head back to learning, I thought perhaps for this giveaway, I would do a school-themed prize. So here are all the ways you can be entered into this month's BekaBoo drawing:
  • Leave a comment here sharing who your favorite teacher is and why or a fun school-related story (perhaps something you or a child you know experienced in school).

  • Leave a comment sharing who your favorite teacher is and why or a fun school-related story on my Facebook fan page.

  • Make a purchase from my store during the giveaway period & you earn two entries.

  • Share this blog post link, and/or my BekaBoo Facebook page link on your Facebook wall or your blog page or via an email (please send me the link or email so I can see it-bekaboocreations@yahoo.com).

  • Refer a friend who makes a purchase & you will both get two entries. (Please notify me via email or in the "notes to seller" box on Etsy so I know who referred the new friend.)

  • If you are not a Facebook fan, you can become one & get an entry. (Send me a note on FB to let me know you added me.)

And the prize? I am so glad you asked!

A mixed set of twelve school-themed note cards & "just a note" cards perfect for giving to a teacher, keeping for yourself, sending to your college-aged child or any student, or just for enjoying as you remember your good-ol' school days!

Better hurry, spread the word, this contest ends at 6 PM Eastern Time on Thursday. I will draw a name using random.org & announce the winner before I go to bed Thursday night.

The set includes:

6 apple note cards
4 back-to-school note cards
2 "just a note" cards

Butterflies

Worked on more of the hope cards tonight for a friend who special ordered a set & for my momma who just should get some BekaBoo love from afar once in a while. :)

Halloween

With school and the next round of grad school starting soon, I wanted to get a head start on the fall cards. Here are just a few of the 150+ cards I made this weekend.

I love these adorable trick or treaters!

These can be mini notecards or treat bag toppers too.

Not a great picture, but I liked how this stamp turned out with the decoration.

I really like this set! I have to find some more of these jack o' lanterns & the ribbon to make more of these!

more "just a note" cards

I bought this stamp ("just a note") at the Dollar Tree earlier this year, and I keep coming back to it! I just love it, and it is so versatile!!! I found these cool shaped paper clips there too, and when I found this paper at Hobby Lobby recently, I just knew these would all fit together well. I am VERY VERY pleased with how this set turned out! I am going to have to make myself some of these! This very well may be my favorite set so far. :)

Hope continued

I made more cards with my pretty, pretty butterfly paper!
I found these pretty pearls while shopping for another project I am working on, and thought they looked pretty here too!
