August Giveaway!

I LOVED doing my first giveaway last month, and I think, as my time will allow, I am going to do a monthly giveaway. :) (I already have a prize for September ready too!) So, without any further ado- here we go- August's giveaway!

My family & friends already know it, but for anyone who doesn't know me in person, I am a public school teacher, so I have a special place in my heart for children- they truly are my life! :) Since it is time for kids & teachers to head back to learning, I thought perhaps for this giveaway, I would do a school-themed prize. So here are all the ways you can be entered into this month's BekaBoo drawing:
  • Leave a comment here sharing who your favorite teacher is and why or a fun school-related story (perhaps something you or a child you know experienced in school).

  • Leave a comment sharing who your favorite teacher is and why or a fun school-related story on my Facebook fan page.

  • Make a purchase from my store during the giveaway period & you earn two entries.

  • Share this blog post link, and/or my BekaBoo Facebook page link on your Facebook wall or your blog page or via an email (please send me the link or email so I can see it-bekaboocreations@yahoo.com).

  • Refer a friend who makes a purchase & you will both get two entries. (Please notify me via email or in the "notes to seller" box on Etsy so I know who referred the new friend.)

  • If you are not a Facebook fan, you can become one & get an entry. (Send me a note on FB to let me know you added me.)

And the prize? I am so glad you asked!

A mixed set of twelve school-themed note cards & "just a note" cards perfect for giving to a teacher, keeping for yourself, sending to your college-aged child or any student, or just for enjoying as you remember your good-ol' school days!

Better hurry, spread the word, this contest ends at 6 PM Eastern Time on Thursday. I will draw a name using random.org & announce the winner before I go to bed Thursday night.

The set includes:

6 apple note cards
4 back-to-school note cards
2 "just a note" cards

Butterflies

Worked on more of the hope cards tonight for a friend who special ordered a set & for my momma who just should get some BekaBoo love from afar once in a while. :)

Halloween

With school and the next round of grad school starting soon, I wanted to get a head start on the fall cards. Here are just a few of the 150+ cards I made this weekend.

I love these adorable trick or treaters!

These can be mini notecards or treat bag toppers too.

Not a great picture, but I liked how this stamp turned out with the decoration.

I really like this set! I have to find some more of these jack o' lanterns & the ribbon to make more of these!

more "just a note" cards

I bought this stamp ("just a note") at the Dollar Tree earlier this year, and I keep coming back to it! I just love it, and it is so versatile!!! I found these cool shaped paper clips there too, and when I found this paper at Hobby Lobby recently, I just knew these would all fit together well. I am VERY VERY pleased with how this set turned out! I am going to have to make myself some of these! This very well may be my favorite set so far. :)

Hope continued

I made more cards with my pretty, pretty butterfly paper!
I found these pretty pearls while shopping for another project I am working on, and thought they looked pretty here too!

Hope

Today I attended the funeral of a young boy who was taken away from his family much too early. My heart hurts for my colleague and her family. I did some card-therapy tonight and wanted to make something to honor them and remind myself of the hope I have in Him.
