Congratulations to Annette!!!

I have never done a drawing or giveaway before, so this was a learning experience for me. I just want to share how I did it with you so you'll know. I created just a simple spreadsheet and as each person entered, I added their name and gave each one a number. I visited this website today and gave it the range of my numbers and asked it to randomly choose one number. It was #31 (as you can see). That number "belongs" to Annette.

Congratulations to Annette!!!

I want to thank you all for coming to my Facebook page and adding me as one of your "likes!" This means a lot to me that you'd take the time to visit with all you have to do each day! I hope you'll be frequent visitors and that perhaps sometime you'll find a need to visit my store as well and find something you like at a price you like. :)

I will be doing another free drawing soon, when I reach 100 fans, so please help me continue to spread the word! :)

Happy Sunday to you all!

I love colors! I am trying to learn, as I work, how to pair colors together and coordinate solids and prints and all things colorful. I found the neatest "retro" paper this week on sale at one of my favorite places (Hobby Lobby). I made a big bag full of mini/pocketbook notepads with this 70's style paper. I just loved the prints in this pack, and it was a nice quality cardstock with the added bonus of glittery designs! These are going up in packs of ten for $3.50 in my store.

a get well card for a special little boy

I made this little card for one of my wonderful students who was in the PICU at Brenner's this week. So thankful he is back home with his loving family now and praying God continues to help him! I wanted to do something a little boy would like and thought the pop-ups would make it a bit more exciting.

Summer Flowers and Surprises

I've been busy reading and studying some new kinds of card making things & working on new creations, some I can't post yet as they are for family members' special days... Coming later. :)

These are some goodies I made in the past couple days though.
Shhh... I think I am safe to show this one. :) My sister & brother-in-law are expecting their first child. It is my first niece or nephew; I am going to be Aunt Beka or something :)!!!! I made this card and wrote a little note to my niece or nephew to just say that I love him/her. I am mailing it to my sister this week to surprise her. I think I will just keep doing this and maybe she'll save them for the little one to have someday from their crazy aunt. :)
